  • Dimorphic worker; monogynous ant.**

  • An ant artist that builds beautiful ant nest using leaves; the leaf structures are weaved by using silk produced by their nymph, and/ or pinched by worker ants (hence the name ‘weaver).
  • It will bite and release formic acid when disturbed
